Litigation
We can initiate litigation or help defend you in a case in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
It’s important for those involved in litigation to know about how these processes work, so that they are better prepared for what’s ahead of them.
When it comes to litigation, there are two parties: the plaintiff and the defendant. The plaintiff initiates litigation by filing a compliant that is filed in court. The defendant is served with the complaint and then files an answer. There is the discovery process where both side asks the other to answer written questions, produce documents , provide sworn statements under oath (depositions) and requests to admit certain facts.
The types of litigation cases we handle:
- Landlord/tenant
- Business disputes
- Real Estate disputes
- Non-Compete agreement whether its to enforce or challenge it
